Email Settings

Email Account Settings
Select the mail client you currently use, and go through the steps to set the correct Email Settings.

From the menu, go to Tools and then Account Settings

Select Server Settings from your account on the left.
Make sure that Connection security is set to ‘SSL/TLS’ and Authentication method is ‘Normal password’.
After you change those if necessary, verify that the Port on the Server Name line above is 995 for a POP3 mailbox type or 993 for an IMAP4 mailbox type.

Select ‘Outgoing Server’ at the bottom of the account list on the left.
Choose your mail server from the list on the right and click the Edit button.

Set Connection security to STARTTLS, then verify that the Port in the settings above is 587.

From the menu choose Tools and Account Settings.

Make sure you’re on the E-mail tab, select your account and click ‘Change…’

Click the ‘More Settings …’ button

On the Outgoing Server tab make sure to check the ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’ checkbox, and then select ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server’.

On the Advanced tab, set the Server Port Numbers field to 995 for a POP3 mailbox type or 993 for an IMAP4 mailbox type and check the checkbox for ‘This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)’ for the Incoming server. For the outgoing server, enter 587 in the field, and select TLS for the ‘Use the following type of encrypted connection’ dropdown.

From the menu choose File and Info, be sure your email account is selected under Account Information and then click ‘Account Settings’.

Make sure you’re on the All or Mail tab, select your account and click ‘Properties’

Select the Advanced tab. For the Outgoing mail(SMTP) enter 465 in the field, and check the checkbox by ‘This server requires a secure connection (SSL)’. Set the Incoming mail field to 995 for a POP3 mailbox type or 993 for an IMAP4 mailbox type and check the checkbox by ‘This server requires a secure connection (SSL)’.

Choose the menu button, then Options and Email accounts.

Select your account and click ‘Properties’
